A sad day.
It is with regret we have to inform you that as of 12/02/2014 Samantha Chapman has decided to step down as Chairperson of the DDRDfoundation due to ill health as a result her husband Llewelyn has also decided to step down as our treasurer to help Samantha and nurse her to health
In the interim it has been decided that your vice chairperson Patricia will take up the reigns as Chairperson and that John will take the role of vice chairperson.
Registered charity number 1154613
After a hell of a lot of hard work your foundation did it!! We got our charity number (the eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed it at the footer of the pages) in a whirlwind 11 months, so much hard work has gone into getting this foundation up and running and we have finally got the magic number that gives us so much credibility, and now we can really make a difference and make people sit up and listen.
70’s and 80’s night
Once again we have shown how hard work and determination can pay off. We had a fantastic and successful night and raised a staggering £500. The local community really came together and showed their support for us.
After some lengthy talks between Barclays bank and our Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, Samantha and Patricia. The kind people of Barclays bank have agreed to help us and back our cause. They Have agreed that once we have reached our first target of £5000, and gain our all important charity number they will then match everything pound for pound, turning that £5,000 into £10,000 and beyond.
Our First DDRDF Shop.
Fantastic news!! The DDRDF has managed to secure it’s first shop, where we can continue to raise monies and awareness for our cause.
The shop is located in the lovely seaside town of St Osyth where we as a foundation have received an amazing response for what we are trying to accomplish. The shop will be open by the end of May..
The shop is now officially open and has bee getting some lovely and amazing support.

We Have been gathering support all over the place
Those wonderful guys at Sea-Wick holiday village have donated to us a three night family stay for 2 adults and 3 children at their site along with extra goodies for the kids. The site benefits from family entertainment, swimming pool arcades and parks as well as much, much more.
We will be including this in a prize draw for which the date will be announced soon.
Tickets will be on sale locally or if you donate a minimum of a pound to the site (please forward your contact details once you have made the donation and we can verify and confirm your entry)
our contact details are firstname.lastname@example.org.
Absolutely Amazing news!! We have been contacted by a young man, Who some of you may already know, called Darren Taylor who on the 22nd of June will be doing a parachute jump and will be donating the proceeds to our foundation. What makes it even more amazing this man is also a sufferer of Dercums Disease and if any one epitomizes the thoughts of “Get up and fight”! It’s this young man.
The jump takes place at
North London Skydiving Centre Ltd
